The vineyard of the Tejoneras estate was planted in the mid-twentieth century with Grenache, and nowadays is complemented by the best foreign and domestic varieties of grapes. Today, the land of Tejoneras produces the most award-winning wines from the Region of Madrid, Spain.

Granites, quartzite and slates of the Gredos Mountains, on which foothills the Tejoneras vineyard sits since mid-twentieth century, enrich the soil that nourishes our vines. Sheltered by the southern slope, among oaks, junipers, almond and olive trees, 780 meters high, the Grenache, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Petit Syrah, Tempranillo, and Pinot Noir grapes receive the precious mineral nutrition resulting from erosion, which gives our wines their unique characteristics.[/vc_column_text][horizontal_list_item][horizontal_list_inner_item title=”Estate’s Acreage” description=”1,850 acres”][horizontal_list_inner_item title=”Vineyard’s Acreage” description=”52 acres”][horizontal_list_inner_item title=”Soil type” description=”Enriched by granites, quartzite and slates of Gredos”][horizontal_list_inner_item title=”Planted” description=”Grenache, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah”][horizontal_list_inner_item title=”Notes” description=”Sustainably farmed”][/horizontal_list_item][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row”][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=”10″ images=”2448,2446,2444,2442,2440,2463″ img_size=”full” onclick=””][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row full_width=”stretch_row” css=”.vc_custom_1577663083037{padding-top: 60px !important;background-image: url(https://tejoneras.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/the-estate-background-1.jpg?id=2465) !important;background-position: center !important;background-repeat: no-repeat !important;background-size: cover !important;}”][vc_column][vc_row_inner gap=”30″][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1460628751680{padding-top: 15% !important;padding-right: 15% !important;padding-bottom: 15% !important;padding-left: 15% !important;background-color: #b0976d !important;}” offset=”vc_col-lg-offset-0 vc_col-lg-4 vc_col-md-offset-0 vc_col-md-4 vc_col-sm-offset-3″][vc_icon type=”openiconic” icon_openiconic=”vc-oi vc-oi-layers-alt” color=”white”][vc_column_text]
